Ketu...for emancipation

Planet Ketu, which is also a shadow planet, is the one which affects the Mo adversely. When it sits with Mo it gives the native some or the other sort of headache and the headache can be as serious as Sinus. The good part is that the native has strong intuitions. The intuitions can be good or bad depending upon the strength of Mo, planets aspecting it and its position. Just like Rahu, Ketu gives fruits of the planet in whose house it sits.

Ketu is said to be a giver of fame and success of the highest order, but when a person is at that level because of Ketu, the person will actually be alone.

A person when under the affect of Ketu, will have to live alone, away from home. Ketu forms an interesting yoga with Saturn in 12th house. The yoga is called Karawas (prison) yoga. It actually does not necessarily signify that the person will be incarcerated, but that the person will be away from his comfort zone, segregated from the rest of the world, may be working for a secret project.

Ketu is also signifies Moksha or final emancipation from the cycle of life and death. If Ketu is situated in 12th house alone and if it is exalted or with master of 5th house, the person is bound to get Moksha after the current life. Ketu can make a person highly spiritual if it has guidance of Ju.

    Hi,

    In my humble opinion, this is actually not a very good combination. Surya is marred with Ketu in 12th. It has aspects from Sa and Ra both, please have your chart checked for Pitra Dosh. Sa+Ra is not a good combination for any chart.

    I cant say things confidently, because I need to see the complete chart for any further comments. The position of Ve, Mo and Ju are also important.

    Yes, to some extent , i am aware about result of such combinations.
    But only to some extent as applicable to any layman.

    I got my chart checked and did dosh niwaran puja too.

    These are positions of above mentioned graha's.

    Venus in lagan ( tula ) with Mercury ( both in Swati nakshtra )
    Moon in 3rd house ( dhanu ) in Purvashadha nakshatra .

    Jupiter ( Uttarphalguni ) with Mars ( Magha ) in Simha 11th house.

    In my humble opinion, there will some sort of disruption in early life related to significations of Houses 5(children, romance etc.) and 8(general health, your in-laws etc.), but since Mars and Saturn are in exchange, they will be able to protect their houses in latter life. It might also mean that the native might have had some sort of incarceration in a previous life (can be confirmed from D60 chart). But as always, all conclusions must be based on a holistic view of the chart. For significations of houses 5 and 8 read the posts on those.

    What is ur opinion on Ke+SA in the lagna (Libra).

    I have Ketu (18 degree) conjunct Saturn (28 degree) in the ascendant (Libra). Ketu & ascendant in same degree/nakshatra (18/swati). I have been practicing yoga & meditation for the past 4 months and i enjoy the meditative state. I have no stable career field. i am planning to spend more time on my spiritual saadhana in some isolated place or in an ashram.

    Hi Bala,

    you are enjoying meditation and such stuff mainly because you began Rahu-Ketu dasha in Feb 2013. This will continue till March 2014 and this is the time period when you can make your life better by being secluded from the world. And you are thinking of doing that. You have already mastered meditation in your previous life and hence it is coming so easily for you. Your spirituality and good karma is going to increase for some time now when you will start Rahu-Venus dasha in March 2014. Things might be slow initially, but they will improve from 2017 March. You are a very patient person so take things as they come. You will slowly rise to great heights in life. That is deemed to happen. One thing - whatever you learn try to teach that to other people. Your job must be something like - technical stuff where you have to interact with people a lot. Meditate on Lord Shiva and take him as your Guru.

    Thank you for ur analysis. The Formless Divine, lord Shiva is the one I am meditating on most of the time.

    I think, Ketu antardasha helped me spiritually. It is on Feb 2013, I was initiated into Shaambhavi mahamudra (isha yoga program). since them i have been more inclined towards Sadhguru & Lord Shiva. I hope the grace of Lord Shiva and all the enlightened masters/yogis will help me attain union with the supreme soul (Para-Brahman).

    Hi Rajiv,

    Please contact a good professional astrologer for this. I can see that you are running Rahu-Jupiter dasa and both have moved to 12th house of losses in Bhav Chalit chart used to determine the result of a dasha. In my humble opinion, please keep trying for the job. Things will get better from March 2014. Your job must be away from your birthplace and must involve technical expertise.

    If I may contribute my understanding of the topic, then I will say
    1.Any planet in 12th house will force the individual to think about the question "How will my death be?"
    2.Ketu in 12th will not be bothered about Moksha, for the soul knows that Moksha is guaranteed.
    3.However, if the Lagna lord is weak, a 12th house Ketu will not stop the worries and fear of death.
    4.Rahu in 12th will make a person strive for moksha.
    5.If the lagna lord for the 12th house Rahu is strong, then the opposite of point 3 will occur, i.e, the person does not worry about death, but worry about moksha.
    6. Moon,Mercury and Venus conjoined with Rahu/Ketu or aspecting 12th house will cause obstruction to the pursuit of Rahu/Ketu.
    7. Sun, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn- through joining or aspecting, will cause acceleration to the same pursuits.
    8. If such Rahu/Ketu will be debilitated, then the pursuit will be private and full of doubts.
    9. Such Rahu/Ketu will definitely either rule the Dasha or antardasha or gochara in 6th/12th at the time of death

Parents teach us to study for good job, once you get a job and save money then they will say get married and have kids. life goes on like this...
